|Our ministry basis
We are relational…As a student ministry, we will ask God to give us hearts that express his love toward all people in all that we do. We seek to express God’s love to others, whether we are on our campus or off our campus, by providing a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for gospel ministry to take place. By God’s grace, we will see every person from the eyes of Jesus. We listen to Jesus, who says, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35).
|We are biblical…We are committed to Scripture being the primary equipping tool for our daily spiritual growth and ministry. We seek to equip students and parents to live gospel centered lives. We are convinced by the words of Paul, who writes, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped in every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).|
|We are missional…We will lead every student and parent to see themselves as missionaries in order to engage others around them with the gospel message of Jesus. We follow Jesus, who says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).|
Our connect groups provide a context for students to build solid relationships and study the Bible with other students who are facing the same challenges on a daily basis. Connect groups meet every Sunday at 9:35 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in our youth room. Our youth room is located upstairs in our Christian Life Center.
Worship On Wednesday
Middle and high school students gather Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30 p.m. in the youth room. Our youth room is located upstairs in our Christian Life Center. We have ice-breaker games, music by our band, a message from God’s word and a breakout application time.
D6 Parent Connection
According to Scripture, God formed two institutions that work together – the family and the church – both have the task of discipleship (Deuteronomy 6:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-13). We seek to resource, train and involve parents, as well as echo their teaching, as they present the truth to their teens. To get on our weekly parent email list, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
