Our Personnel Committee has approved a three-month trial of new office hours beginning July 5, 2016.
Our current office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am — 4:30 pm and Friday, 8:00 am — Noon.
New office hours will be Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am –5:00 pm, with the offices begin closed on Fridays.
These office hours will have no effect on the CLC, which will continue to operate on the normal Friday schedule. We will have an assigned minister on call on Fridays in case of emergency.
Currently, Friday mornings see very little in the way of members or visitors to the church office. The new schedule will generally allow our administrative staff some uninterrupted time in the early mornings to focus on work before the phones start ringing later in the morning. Also, the later hours in the afternoon may be beneficial to some of our membership.
At the end of the three months, the Personnel Committee will evaluate the trial period and may make a recommendation to the church at that time.
